Where did God originate from?

God is eternal, he has always been (Genesis 21:33, Psalm 93:2, Jeremiah 10:10, 1 Timothy 1:17, 6:16). This is a question to be pondered by those of us who are limited to three or four dimensions, including time and space. Remember that God is outside of time (Psalm 90:4, Proverbs 8:22-31, Colossians 1:17, 2 Timothy 1:9, 2 Peter 3:8), as well as beyond our comprehension (Job 36:26, Psalm 82:5, Isaiah 40:13-14, 40:28). We can't even figure out anything here on Earth (Job 38-39, Ecclesiastes 3:11, 8:16, 11:5, Isaiah 44:18), let alone outside of it (Isaiah 40:26, Jeremiah 10:12, Hebrews 11:3). So, if our minds are finite (Psalm 119:96, 2 Corinthians 4:4), then how do we fathom the infinite (Job 11:7-8, Psalms 147:5, Micah 5:2)? God has revealed from his very introduction into human history his eternal nature by his name alone, "I AM THAT I AM" (Exodus 3:14, KJV - "I AM WHO I AM," NIV), which describes no origins at all, but simply an existence.

But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from days of eternity. (Micah 5:2)
